My passion for health and wellness changed my life and now I dedicate my time to helping others not only meet, but surpass their goals. I believe that the journey to a healthier life should be fun and satisfying.
Growing up health and fitness were never part of my life. I was never a very active person and I struggled with my weight even as a child. Things only got worse as I got older. My first year of college I gained over 75 pounds topping out at 240 pounds.
One day I decided I had to make a change. Within 90 days I had dropped over 100 pounds and gone to other extreme. I spent the next 5 years afraid and disgusted by food and obsessed with exercise. Eventually I found a balance and have been lucky enough to maintain that balance for almost 20 years.
I still have fat pants, and yes I sometimes still have to wear them. Like most people I struggle with my weight everyday. It's not always easy, but nothing worth doing ever is.
My mission is to help people find their balance and change their lives for the better. My goal is to empower others to make better choices through education, direction and encouragement. I feel that safe, effective exercise, and quality whole-food nutrition can help you look and feel your best.
My training is based on functional strength and endurance. This type of training is very efficient, yielding maximum results in a minimum amount of time. Constantly changing and evolving exercise programs ensure continual progress and alleviate boredom.
